We ask our clients to please be as accurate as possible when it comes to describing the condition of their home so as to avoid any price changes, when we find the property's cirumstances different from what was detailed.  It is extremely rare that prices adjust but we are always transparent about it and ask permission to continue should we arrive and find the description to be highly inaccurate.

Here’s a guide to how frequencies and levels of dirtiness work.

Cleaned Often:  This is for clients that pick up as they go, clean their house up a little at least once per week. This is a default for clients that have recurring external service cleans.

 

Cleaned Regularly: This is a frequency where clients may let themselves go from time to time, or are too busy to be able to wipe their homes down themselves more than twice per month without an external cleaning service. For realtors, real estate investors, empty properties, this is the default setting.

 

Cleaned Rarely: An external cleaning service has not been by in years.  This is for clients who are not able to have the place cleaned up for excessive amounts of time spanning.  For realtors, real estate investors, empty properties, this is when a property has either been in neglect or contractors did a poor job cleaning up after themselves and/or left tools and material around to be picked up and moved or trashed.

Below are a description of the conditions of the property: 

 

Maintenance Clean: These bookings are only for recurring cleans for clients without pets and do a fair job of picking up after themselves.  It also applies to short term rentals that we service solely on a full time basis.

Somewhat Dirty:  These bookings are for recurring clients who own pets and is the default minimum for a deep clean setting for clients who keep their homes fairly cleaned and picked up. Some medium scrubbing might be required in areas like the showers with some built up soak scum, kitchens with some grease build up might require mild chemicals over general multipurpose to properly clean. For AirBnBs and other short term rentals this is when they had a highly egregious guest requiring excess trash pick up, glitter, vomit or any other biohazards.

Last Pro Clean Over 30 Days:  This is the setting for clients who have not had an external paid professional cleaning service in over 30 days. Typically the condition of these properties will have areas of more significant build up requiring harsh chemicals to properly clean and even cleaning tools such as pumice stones and scrapers. Hard water on glass, thick grease, soap scum coming off on fingernails are common.  Some areas may be so bad that permanent stains would have settled and we can’t guarantee stain removal. 

 

Extra levels of dirtiness after selecting Last Pro Clean: Although rare, these extra levels are for properties severely thick in dust. It may take a cleaner an extra hour longer for a typical bedroom and/or an extra 2-3+ hours solely in a bathroom or kitchen.  Hard water, heavy soap scum, heavy grease and burnt on stoves, stained or built up dirt on baseboards are common. An excess amount of items generally need removed, cleaned, and put back in place (think excess decorations and bathroom items). Pet urine and sometimes feces are sometimes apparent.  There are severity levels for these cleans to accommodate an excess amount of time the cleaners have to be on site to have the place properly cleaned. Harsh chemicals and even machinery such as steamers, rotary powered tools, would be required along with far more cleaning supplies. Some areas may be so bad that permanent stains would have settled and we can’t guarantee stain removal. These are subject to being adjusted even during the clean as cleaners get up close and witness the severity up close. Different level increases may increase as more labor hours are being put in due to unforeseen circumstances in the property.
